The game was marred by the horrendous officiating which featured the head official making two horrible decisions in the penalty area that resulted in a unfair advantage and a two goal differential for Manchester United. The head official made the wrong call in the penalty area on both sides of the field which resulted in the unfair advantage for Manchester United and a two goal differential. Unfortunately the officiating was horrible throughout the game which ruined the game and caused the opposite result that would of transpired if the head official didn't miss two major calls in the penalty area and numerous calls throughout the game.
