  1. Theres no point bringing McGuiness and Jack Taylor if they not gonna be giving a chance like.. should have brought O'brien and played him and McGuiness and Collins in the backs.. scales deserves a go aswell absolutely flying with Celtic.. Troy Parrott is in form in the dutch league aswell.. we need two massive performances from this irish team and i just dont think we gonna get it

  2. Relegation will least mean we be playing at our level in next nations league .In group C we might get a draw or a win against the likes of Andorra,San Marino and Gibraltar,Liechtenstein.

  3. Omabamidele is not even in the match day squad at Forest, Jake O'Brien is the real deal and was one of the best central defenders in France. His agent should be castrated for letting him go to Everton. Any single one of the midfielders that we have could work with any two better ones. (that we don't have) What about Goodhram at Oxford? The silence is deafening. As for the forwards, they are all more likely to be lining up at Tescos any given Saturday than on a pitch somewhere. Not one of them is a proper international standard striker. You can't expect the coaches to come out and say "we are going to start Collins, O'Shea, O'Brien, Kelleher and 7 pylons in the next game". Up the 21s!!

  4. Sorry John loved you as a player but its the same old stuff we've heard from you when you were in full charge, what is it with not only our journalists but managers. Most managers in the UK get media and communication training and we hear amateurs its becoming more and more embarrassing, by all means support the players and talk them up but please stop regurettating the same old stuff.

  5. I hope O Shea is not going to be another Clown like that Steve Staunton was. The Irish people have the right to come down hard on the players if they are not trying hard enough which was clear with Doherty and others in the last two games. Ferguson is clearly lazy too otherwise he would be on his club team. At the moment it looks like these are a bad bunch of people wearing the green jersey so hopefully the new manager can knock them into shape. Im not sure we need O Shea there if he is going to brown nose them trying to be their buddy..
