  1. Not good enough has to be better. The whole team is on there last couple of years. It’s time to bring in league of Ireland players that are young and are playing football every week. Stephen kenny is bringing in English players that aren’t Irish. he needs to look at the Republic of Ireland players.

  2. No real excuse to lose BUT people need to realise that sitting back with ALL your players behind the box and letting your opponent play is some of the hardest matches to play in. All they did was take a massive risk, because is Ireland manages to score.. all of a sudden their whole game plan is finished and they have no choice but to come out and play… which I’d have no doubt Ireland would open them up and score a few. The fact we couldn’t score just meant that on the break, if Armenia took their few chances and scored they then sit back again and that’s it. Close up shop. No risks. It’s so hard playing against that. But like I said, it’s a risky tactic but doable for weak teams. We did it against Germany when Shane Long scored and we won it 1-0. We can’t complain about this. Germany weren’t a bad team, we aren’t either. The players need to learn from this.. they have to be ruthless against weak low bloc teams and score fast… or face another sting. Scotland and Ukraine will be open. Totally different games.
