As a Coach he should have mentally prepared the boys for the Panama Mind games and the physicality they bring and we played Directly into their hands and we paid the price, he failed to prep the boys, MENTALLY. GGG O. U. T.

I'll admit I'm not the biggest soccer guy so maybe this is a crazy hot take, but having to play a man down after a red card makes absolutely no sense to me. Kick the guy out and suspend him for some amount of games afterwords, but the team shouldn't have to play without that spot. No other sport does this and it makes the game almost unwatchable when it happens.
Where's the accountability? Greg talks about the red card but what about your terrible in game management? We could have still won and drew the game. Its Panama, not the Argentina!

Once again Greg was out coached, and bunkered way too soon , how do you do that at halftime. You leave FB as the lone striker and you sub in mid winger with speed like Musah . Leave Reyna in the middle flank with on the wings sides by Pulisic and Musa. Reyna as the play maker in the middle with the Cardoso Brazilian American and Adams as sitting back to defend with 4 in the back . Weah was a fool , how can you do something so stupid .. it cost the team , if you can’t handle the physicality then don’t play the game..
This has never been about Gregg as a person, Gregg as a coach is inexperienced, over his head, tactically inept.

“He knows…”. Says everything right there. The players are extremely comfortable. They need a coach, not a friend. The fact that Adams (which I love by the way) is being nursed back to health in a national team setting in a very important competition; not the right time. Come back when you’re 100%. Josh another one. Why?
When down a man and up 1-0 the manager has to change the formation to hold the lead. Gregg didn't make any changes and got beat.
Parking the bus never works. Play your game with 10 players. We scored with 10 why can’t we do it again. Keep a 4-4-1 and rotate players that get tired. EPL teams never park the bus when going a man down. Parking the bus invites them into our box.
How do you not learn from the Dest situation? It’s a pattern now. He has no control over his team. He’s a bad coach and an even worse leader. How are you not irate on the sideline when your players are getting assaulted on the pitch? Any great coach would’ve received at least a yellow for sticking up for his players.

The ref initially gave a yellow before the red. It does not show much of bias for or against either team. Seems disingenuous from Balhalter to insinuate any “referee’s tendencies”
