What is it with the media in this country, they keep an absolute dope ina job worth half million a year. The guys a complete cretin even before the last 2 half years of a shit show, i mean honestly would you offer this wally job if you interviewed for one, he talks shit from one word to the next, can't even produce a coherent sentence half the time. Sorry, Stephen. Times up. When Anthony Barry left for Belgium, so to did the teams confidence and work rate. It was cleat to see that our good results started when he came in and gone when he left.
Ukraine Second String and Under 21's beat arguably the best team he could put out. The problem is lack of tactical nouse, to play tikky takky football like Barcelona, like Barcelona you need the best 11 players in the world. Otherwise teams will smother you as they did last night.
It's a poor squad. McGoldrick wasn't the greatest player in the world, but he was good enough to be badly missed when he walked away.
What happens now ? Every chance we will lose to both Scotland and Ukraine if they put out strong sides, and then there'd be an obvious case to let Kenny go, with a 3-month gap to the final two games. A new man would then have some sort of chance to prep for the Euros.
But can the FAI afford to let him go ? I don't know. Let's play these two ganes first anyway, then see where we are. They're games of football, we don't know what's going to happen.
Hes so lacking in energy and confidence that its unfortunately rubbing off on the players and making them look worse than they actually are. Kenny is so dopey if we score against Scotland he will be running up the line with his hand in the air celebrating, despite the fact that we are already out of contention. Its amateur and its all that the FAI deserve.

Tbh a team with good quality going forward wins that game! Ireland had 4-5 good chances in the first half alone to create something good but very poor quality forward meant not even a shot was created! It wasnāt Ukraines strongest team and we really should have created much better chances from the opportunities we were in. SK picks the wrong guys up front, goes for work rate over quality and it sure tells.
We need an inspirational manager
Kenny's reign has been a massive disappointment we have all been patient. But its time for a new man with a big personality. Kenny's interviews are hard to watch

Our best attacker is a centre back. Honestly just get the scouts down to the loi matches and find the fastest player on the pitch because itās embarrassing watching christie and ogbene run into 5 Ukraine players every dribble
I was very optimistic about our future, even when the early results under SK were really bad.. I was just delighted to see an Irish manager who actually wanted to try and play football and I believed results would turn.. and I was right.
Things really were looking up. Fans were buzzing and the atmosphere was really building brilliantly all round the squad and especially at the Aviva.
Stephens new contract and the very positive form over last 8 games (pre Nations League) and also Stephens clear public statement that he wanted us to win this group, all augered very well for a positive Nations League campaign for us and a real go at the next Euro Qualifying group.
2 games in.. 2 defeats..Home and Away..no goals scored.. losing to a team ranked 92nd in the world and then a 2nd string Ukranian team who were devastated after not qualifying for the WC only 3 days ago. A real hammer blow its been and the wheels are well and truly falling off alot quicker than anyone expected now.
Now, I see really bad signs, amongst SKs demeanor and a really poor atmosphere again in the Aviva and a poor attendance today (despite a good chunk of free tickets given to the ever growing Ukrainian Community here in Ireland)..
Stephen is not talking a good game either to the media.. He is starting to already look like a dead man walking.
Lose again on Saturday home to the Scots and in my opinion he will definitely be a dead man walking.. no way back.even at this early stage of the group. Of course, the blazers in FAI will be battling down the hatches as they only signed Stephen to a new contract and will give him more time. Though it I only a matter of time if we lose a few more games in this group and if we also start badly in the upcoming Euro Qualifying Group. Its curtains for him and more misery for us BIG fans
How quickly football can turn. No matter what any fan or manager says..Its about putting the ball in the back of the net and winning football matches at end of the day…if that doesn't happen then there is only one outcome..

Kenny tactical skills are completely lacking. Knight was our best player for 25mins. What did Kenny do at 25min mark? He signaled from sideline for Knight to swap to Centre Forward and wasnt seen from until second half… Great input Kenny.
Then left Hendrick on the pitch who was brutal – Subbed in Brown and played as RWB instead of Festy? Completely out of position.

Feel sorry for kenny if Iām honest, as much as Iāve always backed him to succeed, these results really wonāt help him. Jeff duffy mcclean need to be dropped from the squad. All are not good enough for the way Stephen wants to play, and in my opinion guys like danny mcnamara, manning and jimmy dunne needs to be giving a chance. All of which are playin week in week out.
