  1. This man is not a fecking magician, even a magic wand can't make players that are not talented enough to play at international level score goals., Ireland is small and we simply just don't have the talent at the moment to win matches.

  2. Irish fans are as fickle as they come ๐Ÿ™„ they cried and moaned for months wanting the FAI to appoint Stephen Kenny, the FAI actually listened to the fans for once and gave them what they wanted, now all of a sudden the same fans who cried and balled about wanting Kenny in the job are calling for him to be sacked, this one isnโ€™t on the FAI, itโ€™s not on the manager, itโ€™s not on the players, itโ€™s on the fans but theyโ€™re too big headed to see that it is their fault ๐Ÿ™„

  3. Kenny will click it ,we will have the best Irish team ever and it will last for a decade , fai dont give up on him ffs , if you know about Irish football you know this man will do it for us . Full stop .

  4. Sad that we appointed this man on the first place. What genius decided that Mick Mccarthy would move on and this guy take over. We knew Kenny was getting the job well in advance and I feared the worst. I never quite imagined just how bad worst was going to be. This is dreadful and an experienced manager must be brought in asap. The world cup campaign is shot, we need to use the remaining games to build confidence for the next Euro qualifiers.

  5. You seem like a nice enough fella but a point at home to Azerbaijan and Luxembourg ๐Ÿ˜ฒ with prefomaces that look like you don't know if your coming or going and taken half a million for it, the job is beyond you and it looks like it always was. You are miles out of your depth ๐Ÿ‘

  6. Darly Horgan is by far our most creative playing and was in most of the games he was involved in. Darly Horgan has to start for Ireland he won't fix all our problems on the pitch but he will and has created most things ,don't know what these so called soccer people are watching. Shocking and if he was playing with confidence and known he's one of our main men he would be fantastic !!

  7. Kenny can't put the ball into the net for the players. We had that many chances the players are just dirt. Half of them are on the bench for their clubs and the other half playing league 1 and championship. Worst bunch of footballers I have ever seen come out of this country. Manager can only take so much stick but we simply do not have the quality in front of goal.

  8. Should have won 4-1. What a load of nonsense. That's most games we should have won. If only qualification was based on should haves. The man is in denial. Crap team, full stop.

  9. Stephen please remind the attackers whoever they may be to head the ball downwards in the box , too many balls flying over the bar . I know itโ€™s not easy but with the right approach it could become easier.

  10. I think it's a very easy thing to say sack him but when you look at us not being clinical it quite frightening. I don't know if the players respect the tactics as oppose the manager himself they are trying but I really don't see what stephen Kenny is bringing to the table in my opinion

  11. I'm also disappointed about the result being part Irish, but think about this, we were 3 minutes away from losing, at least we managed to finally get a point in this qualification, and Portugal broke my heart and its hard to get over, I think our world cup hopes are over, but we go again in 2026. Go Ireland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

  12. Give him the rest of the campaign, this is the weakest Ireland have been in 30-40 years. What do you expect? Seamus Coleman is our best player and heโ€™s a defender. Ireland are performing well and they are a young side, give the man time.

  13. Kenny , a nice man ( edit – thought he was, but since saw the finger gesture) but its time to go. Heart is ruling his head. Cut your cloth to measure, if you don't have the players for a system then change the system and play to ones strengths. I have no problem with a long ball and creating chaos in the opposition when we don't have the players to do otherwise. If we had wonderful artists on the ball, then we should play to those strengths. So what is it to be? International football is not the platform to develop young players, that is a club role.

  14. Must say.. if someone is out to get Kenny in the FAI then he is playing a stormer with that camera angle! Makes an honest guy look like he is being interrogated
    . Shocking

  15. FFS Lads you take the good with the bad and it's all bad but just get on with I would have been at the game but I had a Friends party to do and hope to be at the next home game COYBIG COYGIG about Azerbaijan slowing the game down we did the same v Porugal.

  16. People can blame Kenny all they like, but their goal comes from two Ireland players not doing a basic thing like closing him down. On our attacking front we created 20 chances and had to rely on Duffy, they couldn't score in a brothel today again the manager can do little about that either, not saying he's blameless in some of the other games but tonight's on the players……
