I don’t understand why they are grieving so deeply. Argentina reached the World Cup final twice in a row, winning the first and earning silver in the second. That is a tremendous achievement in itself. Look at France: they competed for the title in 2022 but did not even finish among the top three this time. Nor is there any guarantee that Spain will reach the top three at the next World Cup. So Argentina should celebrate this result as well. They may have lost the final, but winning the silver medal is still an extraordinary accomplishment.
