Well, Portugal, with help by the referee, won the game. The Italian referee saw how rough the Portuguese were playing towards the end of the second half [foul after foul], but he was lenient. The Italian referee deserves a RED CARD šŗ to himself!!!

Why English journalists are so obsessed and jealous with this great legend Ronaldo?.They are jealous all because they have not had such a legend like him before in their country and that's why they are turned to support messi.

This is what I donāt get about the media, theyāll push these narratives that Ronaldo is too old the younger players āfeel like he shouldnāt be aroundā etc etc, then when they talk about Messi itās almost like they want to get on their knees and beg for him to do the business, like Ronaldo and Messi are only a couple years apart, I donāt think they would be talking about players from Argentina thinking Messi is too old or that thereās nothing more he can offer. Iāve never understood this push for older players to want to stop playing for their national team in my opinion forget even ability Ronaldoās experience is good enough and then when you factor ability heās still in my opinion one of the best strikers in Europe only reason why heās playing in Saudi at this point is for the money, similarly the only reason why Messi is playing in MLS is because of the financial package they were willing to offer (and yes I know he turned down a Saudi deal) if it was up to Messi and money wasnāt a factor heād still be in Barcelona, and similarly if it was up to Ronaldo right now heād still be in Europe but generational wealth always plays a factor once players get older

Didnāt CR7 just score two goals for Portugal. Every team needs a goal scorer and Cristiano is top in the world.
Ronaldo always strong player. Good work ethic and respect to his profession is a good example to young players. All trash negative talk doesn't affect him.
He scored 50 goals in 50 games. So what it was Saudi league? Benzema, who last year most people would consider one of the best Strikers in the world and 2 years ago won the Balon Dor, scored 13 goals in 29 games in Saudi. Ronaldo is still one of the best strikers in the world. Saudi defending isn't as good, but Ronaldo is also playing with lower quality teammates. 50 goals in Saudi is worth at least 25 in Europe.
What toxic Messi fans, and Iām specifically talking about the toxic ones, turn a blind eye to is the subtle disrespect the media has shown CR7. The gasps, the sighs, the eye roll, etc.
Iāll be honest. I prefer CR7 to Messi, but I respect the heck out of Messi. Itās just sad and annoying to listen to these talking heads show the utmost reverence for Messi and talk about CR7 like heās in a different league (not literally, heās obviously not playing in the MLS). Even if Messi is better, the margin is so infinitesimal that he doesnāt deserve this type of second class treatment. Add to that the gaslighting that the toxic Messi fans commit towards CR7 fans whenever the mediaās bias is called out.
