oh boy this prediction didn't age well at all, if you didn't know anything about futbol and only listened to these commentators you'd think portugal was this small team with a bunch of nobody's and spain was this overwhelming force but in reality portugal have one of the best squads in the world and have a world class player in basically every position and thats not including ronaldo despite even at 40 still has some gas left in the tank to offer portugal. so in saying that portugal just won the nation's league over spain and my predicition going into the match was closer to a 50-50 as both countries have amazing squads though i think on paper portugals is a little bit better but none the less portugal overall was the better squad but i'd say it was a very good match that could've gone either way at points.

Mesmerised by this preview, that failed to point out some obvious things. Portugal has a better goalkeeper and midfield, even the bench midfield would be one of the best of the world. And we still have Ronaldo, Leão, Neto… The result was what we saw.
