Portland Timbers Transfer Evander To FC Cincinnati

FC Cincinnati established an MLS trade record on Monday, acquiring Evander from the Portland Timbers for $12 million guaranteed and up to another $150k in incentives.

Portland also retain a future sell-on and trade percentage in Evander, who’s signed a Designated Player contract with Cincy through 2027 with an option for 2028.

  1. Seeing that we have the worst owners in the league this does not surprise me. Evander however is hot and cold with a huge temper problem. If he is on he is great but a lot of the time he is off and then he does dumb things that get him cards. Good luck to Cincinnati in controlling him. Now we need a good replacement but with the Timbers owners I do not see that happening. We trade or sell off most of our good players who then score against us.

  2. Timbers just lost a bonafide star, and you need a star or two if you wanna win the cup…funny how they announced this trade after Apple collected their money. Timbers GM and Coach are leading us on a downward spiral
