  1. About time Phil finds his game & confidence back. He's such a great baller it was a pain watching him go thru that lil slump in his game but clearly he's slowly finding his way back.

  2. When Chelsea or Manchester City are involved in a title race, their opponents lose motivation and start showing extremely fragile defending.

On the other hand, when United, Liverpool, or Arsenal are involved in a title race, opponents show an astonishing level of motivation and set up extremely solid defensive blocks.

Last week’s West Ham performance was their best of the season.

This is exactly what makes a title race so difficult for historic powerhouse clubs.

Stopping doped-up Manchester City or Chelsea from winning the league is not a source of motivation for them.

Stopping the “Red Cartel” from winning the league is the biggest possible motivation for them.

That is precisely why Ferguson’s dominant United side, and Klopp’s Liverpool winning the title, were so special.

If Arsenal win the league this season, it will be something special too.
