It's weird seing him now so thoughtful and wellspoken, young people won't ever understand what a monster of a goalkeeper, what a beast that man was!
His jersey was size XXXL, but despite him being massive he was lightning quick on the line! Opponent strikers feared when big Pete charged out of his goal to grab a cross, no goalkeeper has ever come close to being as intimidating as Schmeichel was i the 90's. The GOAT in my book!

I remember that cul-de-sac. I used to deliver to that little road in Bramhall in the early / mid 90's. Seeing the little goals in the front yard for a young Kasper.
