  1. It was an accident the peruvian player was gonna hit it and the canadian got in the way. Plus they are playing fast so they didnt have time to react

  2. No way the player went for the ball it was never intentional if anything after the peruvian player hit the ball that was when he came into contact with the Canadian player it a bad call on the referee's part 😢

  3. This is ridiculous. Not even a foul. He kicked the ball. Your foot has momentum and follows through whether you want it to or not. As a defender, I have been kicked this way dozens of times. It hurts. It sucks. And in no way is it a foul on the offensive player who is playing the ball.

  4. How much did Canada pay for this? The Peruvian got there first, he is the defender. The Canadian had a bad challenge and no contact with the ball.

  5. The cabezazo by Lopez should’ve been a red card, not this one, terrible refereeing but we’ll have to give it our all against Argentina now. 🇵🇪💪 Vamos a ser locales otra vez VAMOS PERU

  6. Yo no se que hace este Peru en la Copa America. Me imagino que vinieron a pasear y conocer los USA. Ojala y vayan a Disneyland. Digo.

  8. Is that not the point of wearing shin guards? Granted never played at that level but thats why you wear them, incase you get kicked down there. No different then a cup to cover the twig and berries.

  9. Y’all clearly don’t have the skills or knowledge to say whether or not this was a red. IT WAS A RED CARD. there are plenty of ways to hold the ball when someone is rushing you. YOU PLANT YOUR FONT ON THE BALL to maintain possession. DONT KICK IT. And of course it’s the usual suspect 🤦‍♂️
