  1. pep. is crazy man , it was citys home they will be playing better , now I m not a Madrid play supporter anymore since Zidane left but, playing at citys home and defending strong that's a win

  2. They wasn't better THAN Real .Actually they are quite ordinary this season. Let me say it .Leipzig was robbed. THEY OUTPLAYED REAL FOR REAL .Referees simply rob them.

  3. Pep is by all standards one of the greatest coaches to ever be in the game.
What I really don't get is how he is always pleased by who passes the ball about the best.
I hardly think that translates to who played better. Not at all by any stretch of the imagination.
Over the two legs, I felt City played poorly. They kept passing ball to feet throughout the game, with most passes needing at least two touches per player.
There were no dangerous splitting or through passes, and not much of dangerous crossing passes.
I know Pep has played without a striker in the past but for a side with arguably the most dangerous striker on the planet to be hitting the ball about in the opponent goal area and middle of the pitch like they didn't have a striker on the pitch, that's not what wins games. Real didn't play Haaland out of the game, City did.
This is a striker who is dangerous in the air and by foot.
The goals they got over the two legs came from some of the few direct shots from his players or spills after direct shots, yet they were not creating shooting opportunities in front of goal, and the when some opportunities presented themselves, they chose to rather pass the ball as if it was meant to be passed into the net.
At times they could pass all the way to the opponent goal area and all the way back to their own goal and back again to the opponent's goal area.
Personally, I think City's game was totally poor and predictably comfortable for Ancelloti who on the contrary played a purposeful attack each time Real surged forward.
City passes beautifully but they need more dynamism to winning games.
