  1. I can't get this metric: he played 72 of Barcelona's 73 games. I would think Barcelona's medical team is more clever than declaring: if a player is not injured he's fit to play.

I really think Liverpool's 2024-25 season showed what it means to start every match with the same players 2x a week. They were firing on all cylinders. Until in April PSG knocked them out of the UCL. Immediately Liverpool lost confidence (and matches in PL) and were out of the FA cup also. At the end they won the Premier League, but it was a sudden decline in performance.

Also: Pedri's injury against Real Madrid just shows how much Pedri wanted to win the El Classico (he just squeezed every last energy out of himself), and how different it is to play against Real Madrid players (physically they are next level).

  2. Barcelona just do not know how to manage and nature young talent. Will not suprise me if Yamal breaks down again next. These players are playing way too many games and not being allowed to develop.
