The Morning Footy crew go over yesterday’s Men’s Olympic Semifinal results which saw Spain defeat Morocco by a score of 2-1 and hosts France thwart Egypt 3-1. Spain, thanks to their first Olympic comeback win since 2020, now reach their second straight Olympic final. The nation seems to be finding success at every level. As for France, all 3 of their goal were scored after the 80th minute and have reached their first Olympic final since 1984. This also marked their 5th straight win at the tournament. I love Henry, but I don't think that he is able to take France A. He has a big ego, it works with U23, but it's a problem with big professional players, his speech didn't work at all when he was the main coach of Monaco, and his relationship with the team was very bad.

Henry had a 20% win percentage at Monaco and a 30% win percentage in MLS. He’s an awful coach. He might get better 5 years from now but he has no business coaching the USMNT at the World Cup. He must be paying Charlie to be his agent. My Gawd

Morocco and Egypt were so close. Morocco showed so much class throughout the tournament. However, when you reach the Semifinals it is expected to play against another faint and you could loose.

Such a USA mentality 😅 we have the power to pull their coaches so we can be this good. First, those coaches are going to USA for a golden retirement after acomplishing their goals in football. Second, you cant replicate the succes of a football oriented country and a their club owned academies by pulling "some coaches".
