  1. Ancelotti wasn’t a CDM. But also this is an example of correlation not causation. Keane, Matthaus, Ince, Vieira, Edgar Davids, Neeskens to name but a few were all incredible players but poor managers. Hargreaves is trying to seem like he has greater knowledge than he actually does. Talking nonsense.

  2. I think there’s something to be said personality wise for players that love a tackle and a battle in midfield, that’s the spirit of the game that’s gone down the toilet , they don’t always make the best coaches but their the life of the game and the game has kicked allot of these players out to be over cautious and protective of skillful players like messi who would risk leg breaks when they were in the game but you’ve got to have them or you don’t have a game

  3. It’s not just the position but rather I think one thing that plays a big part is how many different “coaches” the player has been coached by. Different philosophies help a lot.

  4. 😂😂😂 this is a load of bull Mourinho never even played football he was one of the best coaches out there doesn’t matter we’re you played a good coach is a good coach

  5. Nah. Sir Alex was a forward. Cruyff was a forward. Mourinho never played. It's not about which position you played. You don't even have to play the game to understand it at a very high level.
