It’s not a handball.. he had already won the ball and it was on his possession . If it was the other way around and it was on the usmnts players possession and he took it from him by using his hand then it would be a hand ball cause he would be called for using his hand to get an advantage over the ball and even then it would of been up to the referees discretion.. if he chose accidental hand contact or a foul for using his hand to give him an illegal advantage over his opponent!

This was a hand ball because his arm was in a unnatural position (making his body bigger) and it interfered with the play (if his arm didnt touch it it wouldn't hit his body if his arm was in a natural position the ball would of hit his body if he didnt touch it) making it a handball as a ref thats my opinion
