  2. Wondering why Nouhou continues to slide tackle the way he does. I think this is the 3rd deflected goal of the season he has created with his slide tackling. It has also contributed to his yellow card accumulations (causing him to miss a game). He does it quite frequently, which should be a concern.

And Jordan Morris has no need to "sell" the official on a penalty. It's not who Seattle is (leave that to Miami and LA teams). He's lucky that he was not yellow carded for this game.

Onward to, what I hope, is star #3 on the jersey! Go Sounders!

  3. I don't know about Freese. He never seems to make an amazing save. He saves the obvious ones he should. Like that first goal seems saveable. It would be a great save, but maybe doable. That is concerning for the USMNT.

  4. Bad defense on all goals. on the first goal the NYC goalie was very slow to plant his feet. He takes an extra hop backwards for no reason and is not ready to move again until the ball is most of the way towards goal. On the NYC goal the Sounders were too narrow. There were 4 defenders around 2 players leaving a 2 and 1 elsewhere. On the game winner, half of the NYC players were wrestling for position and the other half were way too late trying to set an off-side trap.
