  1. From what I've read in discussions on Reddit:

1- Most New York City FC fans are from Queens and the Bronx.

2 – In Manhattan and Brooklyn, NYRB and NYCFC fans are more mixed. But New York City FC has a slight advantage.

3 – In Staten Island, the majority of soccer fans who support a local team are New York Red Bulls fans.

4 – Outside of New York City, the New York Red Bulls have fans in New Jersey and the Hudson River Valley.

  2. At Arsenal, Artera brought in Raya to take number 1 spot from Ramsdale, because they said Raya was better on the ball. While formal stats somewhat improved with Raya in the goal last two years, ultimately it didn't do the club much good because they still haven't won anything and Raya has not always been equally stellar in decisive matches. He hasn't made blunders like Coronel today, but the idea he's better than Ramsdale just cause he's better with the ball is ludicrous. And some other keepers in EPL do make similar mistakes to Coronel's

  3. I think the mistake Coronel made is typical these days, when keepers are demanded to be "good on the ball" and act as essentially another field player, passing the ball out. Keepers sometimes overthink trying to figure out what to do, whom to pass and this leads to errors, giveaways etc. At least i don't remember seeing this many goals scored from this sort of situations before. Abd i think it's a bit of a malaise and a fallacy, goalkeeper first and foremost has to be a good shot stopper and defense leader, being a good passer is a cherry on top of a cake, not a necessity

  4. Red bulls for some reason were anemic. I understand it's formally city's home, but it's a derby which adds to importance on top of if needing points in the league race.
