  1. I was at the game. Last year's Revs would have packed it in. This group is different and I don't think they'll drop off. Most of the players weren't on the team last year and week by week they're getting better playing together.

  2. Despite the comeback, that still felt like a loss. Revs had so many chances that went begging (credit to Hansen, he made some great saves). It’s also becoming apparent that teams are figuring out their 3-at-the-back formation. It is very vulnerable on the counterattack.

  3. Incredibly disappointing game for the Rapids. Between scoring an own goal and committing a super avoidable foul in the box, they really handed the draw to New England. I’m not a fan of saying that the other team got lucky when they score garbage goals. If you screw up, then the opponent can say thank you, and you can’t criticize them for doing so. You can have bad defense but good goalkeeping, and that’s what the Rapids had tonight. Nico Hansen had a terrific game in goal for the Rapids, making several top notch saves but then having to put up with a shot from his own defender and a PK.
The Rapids are a team that can definitely be top 5 in conference, but they make mistakes and they give up too many stoppage time goals.

  4. Honestly one of the best games they’ve played in terms of chances. 2 amazing saves kept it from being 5, and the only times they were cut open Colorado took the chances on 3 counters. 20 shots on goal, something like 11 corners, really solid effort in the opposing half today
