  1. UEFA MAFIA!!

And one of the players should have received a direct red card for the foul she committed.

There was a foul in the second goal of the Netherlands.

    Where is the VAR!!

  2. Another blatant miss by the refs, clear kick in the shin in the box.. smh. There needs to be a challenge like American football so these game changing plays can be reviewed.

  3. Great game from both teams, one of the best game of the tournament. I'm happy with Turkey's performance overall but man our coach is too slow to change some players. Netherlands dominated 10 mins and scored a goal and then Netherlands did 2 subs and our coach is still waiting. Then we conceded another one! Now he is changing players from right to left and yeah we started dominating again. Why so slow man? Netherlands deserved it at the end of course. We deserved to win too but could not get it at the end.

One thing though, how could he not see that the player just threw himself to the ground at 92:45? That could have been a penalty for Turkey but instead Hakan got a yellow card. Overall good game for the ref but that one hurts.

  4. The hero of the game for Netherlands is clearly referee. Worst performance of the Euros. Lot of potential red cards for Ned’s and 2nd goal was clearly faul! What a Shame!

  5. Why does Turkey receive special treatment in having their country’s name presented with a diacritic in an alternate spelling (i.e., Türkiye), both here and in Euro 2024 TV coverage? Fox Sports' target market is native English speakers (primarily American), and the coverage is presented in—yet again—ENGLISH. Austria is not referred to in this tournament as Österreich and the Netherlands is not adjusted to Nederland. Yet Turkey seems otherwise entitled. (This match in particular had our play-by-play commentator referring to them as “Tur-kee-yeh,” rather than the native English pronunciation.) Is this part of the pattern of some people from Middle Eastern cultures complaining like children when Westerners don't print or pronounce their country names the way they do, even though people from Western cultures are not generally native speakers of Arabic, Farsi, or Turkish? I’ve been inclined to believe, mainly due to geography, that Turks are a more worldly lot who have been long familiar with the concept of an exonym, unlike most Eye-rain-ians and citizens of Qatar, Cat Tar, Cutter, Gutter, or whatever the proper pronunciation is this week. Or perhaps this is yet another sign of the Murdochs’ adoration for authoritarian leaders, because this apparently preferential treatment reeks of undue influence by that wannabe Stalin, Erdogan. Am I wrong?

  6. Am happy Turkey is defeated by the Netherlands, as it is a pretty nasty evil country. The only thief that I have met in my life was a Turkey student, when we confronted him for his stealing with evidence, he said he wouldn't do it again, so we didn't call the police at that time to give him a break. The next day he secretly moved out of the apartment when we were in school for classes (likely also stole other of our belongings), breached his sublease with us (We rented the apartment but subleased one room to him to share the cost as students were poor), canceled the rent share check, without ever consulting us about his early move-out. When I contacted the department dean for his stealing, and subsequent breaching of our lease and cancelling his rent-share check, he hurt us a third time to break our car's windshield. Before the stealing happened, we had invited him to take rides with us to the supermarket for multiple shopping trips, that's how the Turkey paid back to our kindness, extremely bad low life, could do so many things to harm people in just a couple of days🤮

  7. 2nd goal for Netherlands looked like a straight foul. The attacker had to go through the defender’s leg to get that touch lol.
Whereas, the foul called in the 94th on turkey was a straight flop lol.
Not sure how it happens when there is VAR. those are two critical plays to use it on.. dude gets yellow for his absolutely reasonable dissent. Poor incidents of refereeing there

  8. Depay is starting to look like Lukaku. Does a lot but never scores. Sure he dribbles well bet eventually always loses the ball. He will not help that team win…
