It started with an own goal by Anastasio in the 41’ that gave Napoli the 1-0 lead. From there Rijeka threatened and Loncar had an opportunity to tie but was unable to finish the chance. For the first thirty minutes of the second half Napoli clung to the one goal lead until Lozano scored in the 75’ to double the Italian side’s lead. Napoli would hold on to the two goal advantage and take home a Group F win.
