  1. People complaining about the relentless interviews don't realise Amorim is building a connection with the fanbase so that we have something to hold on when this rebuild gets hard

  2. LET THIS MAN REST, with all these interviews. The fans are behind him, and all eyes are firmly on Ineos and the Glazers to deliver for this man. Ruben is the guy, I trust him, but I couldn't trust those above him with an unopened packet of sour worms let alone to deliver whats needed for this manager.

  3. Doing those weird close-ups of his hands like he's a hostage in the spanish inquisition. This ain't a horror movie its supposed to be a relaxed fun interview. Terrible choice from the director/editor, obviously didnt get the memo.

  4. What a legend this guy is!

Trust me, as a sporting fan, this guy will make it happen for Manchester United. A fantastic communicator, and coach but definitely a man on a mission.

He and his team know what they are doing, I know as I've seen it.

Sporting hadn't won a national championship title for 19 years and then after spending €10 million on someone who didn’t even held an FA-level qualification to be the main coach, he made it happen.

It's a transcending thing, he creates this consequential thought of trust in him, which spreads throughout the institution he represents.

It started in S.C. Braga, multiplied in Sporting, and will continue in Manchester United. Players trust him, sports directors trust him, the media loves him (or these hundreds of interviews wouldn't be happening), the fans trust him and so the motor starts rolling. It might take some time, but it will get there, I'm pretty much sure.

His tactical capacity is good, it isn't that complex, an aggressive 3-4-3 with short-passing possession, he reads the games well, knows who to substitute, adapts where needed, but the revolutionary factor isn’t that, it’s motivation.

He makes players believe they can win until the last second of the game. Creating this humble idea that game by game we can make it. As if it was today, I can remember our center-back Coates’s last-minute goals which proved to us the players were giving it their best.

In the end, for Ruben Amorim, it's not really about how good the players are (trust me, I didn't understand why he kept starting many of them) but about how much they want to win and to work hard for their club.

So, you might need new signings guys, just don't get Gyokeres we need him.

Lastly, this manager loves the press, because that is his main weapon, his communication capacity. Pay close attention to his press conferences; he is reaching everyone he wants how he wants.

To fans, he gives hope, to the right players, motivation, and to the competition, something to worry about.

Let him speak, let him steer the wheel of Manchester United for a while and I think good things will happen once again.

    Saudações leoninas!

  5. The respect that Roy Keane receives from former players outside of England is really great to see. Arguably the best captain in Premier League history
