There’s always room for fair play in the tough, old world of professional football. Halil Altintop has provided us with the latest example. The Augsburg attacker passed up the chance for his team to have a corner mistakenly awarded by the referee. When the match official asked him if he got a touch, Altintop admitted that he did, resulting in a goal kick and a round of applause from the Werder fans!

That guy can score bangers
I remember that his brother Hamit didn't want to be paid in RMadrid while he was injured. What a lovely family 🙂

You guys realize that the commentary said corner instead of a goal kick lol
That's fair play, telling the truth, or whatever, but in the spanish La Liga I rarely see that. Im proud of seeing those things on Bundesliga, Im saying as a spanish.
Turkish power
Blind referee lol
remember when Klose admitted to have scored a goal with the hand when the ref asked him? Telling the truth nowadays in football isn't as usual as it should be so it's always great seeing someone telling the truth.
Cant watch it…
This is why i love Bundesliga
H. Altintop > H. Altintop
For all saying "he didn't want to do it" "he didn't go straight to the referee" his team was down and he probably really wanted to win. Even with this, he still told the truth. Think about it, you probably (I can't say for sure, obviously) would have thought about it too.
he just wanted to be highlighted on the Bundesliga youtube channel
Marco Reus wtf
well he didn't go straight to the referee to admit it
