Why would Ballon d 'Or matter in a team game, football is a team sport. The point system could have been so much better if it had accounted for the impact of each player in terms of winning trophies + performances against big teams + season contributions as compared to other players in similar positions during that time. Balloon door is an award given by some journalists through a vote, it is essentially an opinion, so giving that 5 points is like treating it as a fact while its not lol. PFA Players' Player of the Year is a better opinion imo if you want to go to the opinion way.

They leave out Van Persie but puts in Harry Kane. Van Persie is much better than Kane by far
its not just about goal scoring, its the footballer aspect, only ronaldo and salah for me rival henry for that. aguero maybe the best finisher we have seen with ruud, but all around striker henry tops it for me.

Henry’s best attribute overall is his humility, what a gentleman. Incredible player too, coming from a United fan. I always hated him in those 2000s because of the rivalry but now look back with so much respect, what a player he was!!!!
