12:44 that guy knows he's from arsenal right ??? The next step would have been Barca.
Bogart is clueless!
Apparently, Balogun missed an early flight to Finch Farm and arrived late; then the medical team found an issue with his knee, renegotiated with Monaco, and now all is fine.
They tried to renegotiate with Balogun on certain terms because of his knee, and we have every right to do so!
I believe the player's ego, after the sh!t show of a corrupt World Cup and the interference from the Orange man, has swollen, and he decides to walk again- up to him.
Everton have inadvertently created this mess, but if a player has a fragile ego, perhaps we have dodged a bullet!
Everton was trying to be cute and got screwed. If you think there is a medical issue and failed him, then why go back and try to renegotiate for the said player. The medical issue didn’t disappear in the 3 or 4 hours that followed. You either want the player or you don’t.
Monaco the funniest team ever
It was freaking mayhem last night between Monaco, Chelsea and Everton
Sky sports was reporting this as well and stated that when clubs agree and restructure a deal one thing that also needs to be restructured is the players wages and terms…Balogun probably didn't like the new terms and or wage…and he opted out 😅…you can't restructure a deal without restructuring the players part as well…
Balo … fickle player with delicate 'feelings'. He won't get anywhere near the top of the game. He'll end up going back to the little league MLS.
Balogun has a bad knee he had it during world cup and he wouldn't have been able to play for at least 3 month's. Everton dodged a bullet with this waster.
They never completed the medical check.
Flo I swear to god bro, I got 5 million cash and the most polite people you’ll ever meet, come to Minnesota United bro you’ll be a god amongst men
this guy is reporting on half baked information. you can extend for two hours
Monaco always need money despite selling well .
Because of their small statium 17000 seats and their ridiculous sponsorship …
Going from certain number 1 pick at Everton…to number 2-3 pick at Monaco… You can tell living standards differentials are clearly not in Liverpool's favor… lol
Good for Flo!!!
This is almost like the Maxx Crosby trade to the Ravens that was canceled do to a failed physical.
Common sense people…
First the “failed medical” leak offended Balo
Then the amended deal that attached bonuses to starts or goals as opposed to just flat out paying him
Why would an established double digit goal scorer sign a deal that ties his salary to performance…he’s not an Arsenal academy kid any longer, he’s scored 20+ Ligue 1 goals and had a good World Cup
If Moyes or ownership decides they want to save money the easiest way to do that is to limit his starts….thats disrespectful to a player of Balo’s stature and talent
You don’t need Scooby Doo to solve this mystery
Everton screwed the pooch with the BS medical leaks and lowballing Balo especially when Everton isn’t really known for going forward and creating chances
Again use your brains….
Puahahahhahahahhahajahhaa from Stamford Bridge
If one day at a team's facility is long enough to sense a mess, that's not a good sign for a club
A $40 Million contract is not life-changing money? I get that Saudi wages are even greater, and you can understand people taking it. But let's not pretend that PL money is superb and life changing, too!
My issue with Balogun is that he made the decision so late. Everton being cautious after an independent medical team say there is an issue with this man you are looking to pay $90 M (fee plus wages) for is absolutely acceptable. And if his issue is with that, he should be avoided as a diva. If it is the circus at Everton he wanted to avoid, perhaps make that decision earlier
He definitely wanted to play in any Europa league. He has time and don’t need to go to Everton at this time.
Yeah, Everton screwed up the opportunity playing games at the end of the window.
Everton are f**ked, too. Only one senior striker in the world's biggest and most competitive national football league. More explanations are needed from Balogun. Some big businesses have been screwed by this
Monaco can't admit that he was injured before his red card WC game in order to cover for Pochettino. They tried to pull a fast one on Everton and failed.
Everton tried to get the ManU lad while Balogun was at the facility after the medical. Id leave too. They never really wanted him in his eyes.
Balogun is not a PL standard striker!
When they score on the right, they press on the left. Belgians chocolate for crisp $2.50. Kiss the change, $100 bill dropped by Likaku.
EVERDON!!!!!
Sell him to turkish club or dutch surely as deadlines open longer.
Balogun is at best a relegation saudi team level player
Everton are lying. They tried to change the terms of the contract, and the player said no.
Needs to be some sackings at Everton. Mainly Kinnear and everyone else involved in bringing in transfers. It would have been better just keeping Beto instead of wasting £45m on an average striker like Balogun. Plus, Balogun is definitely injured because he's not played since the world cup. Apparently it's to do with his knee, so I think it's a lie that he's fine.
“Big move” and “Everton” is a bit of an exaggeration 😂
