  1. Until MLS teams spend the same amount on players as the MX teams do, how can we ever expect them to win? It's like racing a Hyiunday with a Ferrari. Only time the Hyiunday wins is if the Ferrari gets a flat.

  2. Toronto did terrible this time. They were not even interested in the game. Even coach took altidor away of the game too soon. It was dissapointing. Where was that team, so hungry of victory over mexican teams, that was in the concacaf champions league?

  3. MLS was again the lesser of another league. Old talent arrives at it's shores every year and never give what they promised. You talent is not developed. You talent is alawys encouraged to go else where. Many are head to Liga MX.

  4. This cup and even CONCACAF Champions League would be more interesting if MLS would get rid of their handicap; the salary cap. MLS doesn't get tired of getting its ass kicked by Liga MX, not once, but now will be getting its ass handed to them twice in a year from now on. With a salary cap MLS can't compete against a strong league as Liga MX. Let the clubs spend as much as they want just like Liga MX and South American leagues do, otherwise, MLS will never be able to compete at an international level.

  5. Watching it right now, Tigres ahead by 1 goal. Currently at half time, and it's not that TFC isn't playing well, they are, they just haven't scored a goal. Crowd is pretty good, not a sellout crowd, but not empty either. I think, relatively speaking, it seems to be a bit of a success. I'm not going to take TV ratings into inconsideration, MLS has never been a ratings juggernaut.

  6. The reason that MLS seems to be growing, even though it doesn't get really high viewership on TV, is because, quite honestly, the channels that broadcast it, rarely advertise it, unless an MLS game is coming up next. You know, they buy these broadcasting rights, and then they don't do anything with them, it's like they want them to fail.

  7. I am curious to see how this goes. I am not against this at all. But, that said, it could introduce news fans to both leagues. Or it could be a complete failure. We'll see.
