  1. Hello Sir, I Prodipto Referee from India Regarding Refereeing Development in India We were suffering from 4 year. Our Referee exam were not done from many years, For some people of committee members doing bad politics… So we were not see our bring future… If any suggestions of you please help us

  2. I'm not quite sure if this is exactly the question asked at 48' via Twitter, but :
Can head ref change his mind from no card at all to a simple yellow card after reviewing for a suspected red card omission ?

  3. I agree with most of Howard's comments – but the system is not working as intended at the moment.

We're getting delays of like 3 or 4 minutes as the referee goes to the side of the pitch to umm and ahhh over the footage … it CAN'T BE CLEAR AND OBVIOUS IF IT TAKES YOU 3 MINUTES TO MAKE A DECISION!

    duh.

  4. Video review is not a good idea. But it provide jobsfor many people like this ex ref. You must understand that very expensive players makes big mistakes, but you don't want the refs not to make any mistake! Are you crazy? It's part of the gamenormally, but youy want to change it. OK. The game will be less atractive.

  5. 8:46 is some sly data manipulation… comparing the MEDIAN time of a stoppage on a VAR Review with the AVERAGE amount of time on a normal play to make the two seem closer than they really are.

  6. I think they left some information on the table when it comes to restarts. If there is a penalty that is not called and play never stops, what happens? The referee can stop the ball if it reaches a neutral zone, but what if it doesn't? Would the referee come back after five minutes of attacking play to call a penalty or would he call some sort of restart based on the VAR check? It seems like adding restarts because of the system would inherently disrupt the play. This is probably why they glossed over the part that seemed to imply that the referee could stop the play near the middle of the field after a potential penalty or red card to give the VAR time. How do you restart if he decides not to call a foul? Like I said, it seems like we're missing some information regarding restarts.
