Check out 69:07 game time, @4:04 in the highlights. The commentators didn't mention it and probably didn't notice it, but CO 2nd breakaway goal happens because the Ref backs into Trapp as Wil Trapp is going to make a play on ball. Trapp gets a yellow for yelling at the ref after the goal, which never got mentioned on the broadcast. Everyone in the stadium noticed Trapp & the ref running into each other. You can just see it on the broadcast before the ball & camera moves to the other end of the field, but it take Trapp out of the play entirely.
It doesn't make up for MN terrible defending in the 2nd half, but if refs call plays dead when the ball hits them then they should call plays dead when players run into them too. Or they run run into players because the ref doesn't look where they're going. Big ref error in only his 2nd game in the center.
