  1. I agree. Michigan is not going to hire anybody that is connected to Harbaugh. So not Minter, Not Fisch (UDub) and not John Harbaugh. Not gonna happen.

No reasonably successful coach at a blue blood program will willingly leave their program to come to Michigan. So not DeBoer (Alabama), not Riley (USC), not Freeman (Notre Dame) and not Elko (Texas A&M).

I doubt Michigan will hire an assistant coach or coordinator. They will want a coach with a track record of leading a program. So again, not Minter or any other assistant coach or coordinator.

The only real options are Lea (Vanderbilt) and Dillingham (ASU). I would be surprised if Michigan's next head coach weren't one of those two.

  2. Bama ain't dumping Deboer without a solid – SOLID – #1 candidate available and ready to move on THEIR board. Why would they? So who in the CFB world do they have their sights on? And why isn't Michigan pulling THAT dude instead?

  3. Michigan is not a good job. Yet. The scandal ridden program needs a complete reset with establishing a culture and then winning. This could be one of the top jobs in the country if they right the ship.

  4. Warde Manual cleaned up a lot of messes with the basketball and hockey program. Sherrone Moore is a Harbaugh hire. Manual did cut Harbaugh’s salary in half after the 2020 season so there’s that. I think Manual is a keeper.

  5. You have no clue. I know for a fact it is not chaotic. It is very methodical. And sign gate "scandal" is an F…ing joke and everyone knows it.

  6. They are interviewing Poggi today. He's not their first choice, nor is he probably in the top 5. He is their only choice……for now. Until UM cleans house, Poggi can win 8 to 10 games until internally everything settles down. He will be made clear of what his role is and what is to come after an in depth coaching search. PSU thought the could get anyone they wanted. They couldn't. If you think Matt Campbell was even on their radar, you're sadly mistaken. Michigan fans, don't get greedy. To settle for Dillingham, Fisch or Whittingham is a short term buzz.

  7. Cleaning house isn't gonna stop the next coach or next ad from having an affair. People act like warde should had a Crystal ball. He coulda fired every single person at Michigan including harbaugh and you'd still be calling for his job. I don't care if it was under his so called watch. If you have two kids and they become crack addicts, did you fail as a parent? Maybe but probably not. Sometimes kids just make their own decisions. You can only do so much. Warde will steady the ship.

  8. Listen I get it about warde Manuel it seems he's not good at his job, but was it really his fault for the scandal? Burger gate wasn't for having recruits on campus, it was over zoom calls btw. And you can't tell me or convince me that coaches around the country during that time weren't contacting their recruits.. your not going to convince me. The Connor thing, is what it is . Warde unless he has private investigators following coaches around would never know what the guys doing. Even harbaugh running a giant program like Michigan could have something like that go undetected. Harbaugh has a million things he's responsible for and Connor was probably the least of his worries at the time. Matt Weiss is just a low down dirty person, who when vetted was clean. So I'm. Kot sure how you stop that. Now we have sherrone and that situation, and I'm not sure what warde was supposed to do about that one either? Stuff is going to go undetected , it's just going to happen. Hell Ohio st players have told stories of sneaking out of their hotels to go to strippper joints during the championship run under urban. You would think there is no way that should happen, but it did. I support warde, he's made some very good hires over the last 2 yrs. Im not firing him for things he had no control over.

  9. He’s done a great job covering up all the scandals having a coach that he hired get suspended for nine games out of the year the cheating scandal the scandal that the guy broke into computers who’s facing charges from the government this guy has done a great job covering up all the bullshit. Michigan deserves what it gets. I hope they collapse. I hate Michigan just as much as I hate Ohio State. They all a bunch of cheaters.

  10. Didn't Fisch say his wife and kids went back to Tucson cuz his daughter has already been to multiple schools and they wanted her to finish at the school she attended down there. Or something like that, I swear I remember him being super annoyed about the ?'s and some ppl/media bugging him and making such a fuss about his personal family business? Unless im not remembering that correctly at all

  11. You are pretending that AD’s still hold all of this power. The donors and people writing the checks hold the power now. Warde Manuel plays little to no role here fired or not

  12. The vetting is real. Jed Fisch has been ruled out due to the vetting turning up something. Apparently, nothing serious or egregious but enough to steer Michigan away from pursuing him under current circumstances.

  13. Sherrone Moore was not a Michigan man…he's an Oklahoma sooner. He never should've been given the job in the first place. Harbaugh couldn't have known what a liability he was but that was a huge mistake.

  14. Yeah you guys are to young obviously to remember Michigan thought this same exact thing with rich rod and that turned into a mess. I think an older guy who understands how to CEO and program is going to be the best fit. I'd hire Wittingham or Brom or keep poggi for a year and start fresh next cycle

  15. Warde hired the hockey coach and they are top 2 in the country . Women's bball is doing great. Harbaugh is the one who warde trusted to pick his guys and the entire Michigan planet wanted Harbaugh hired. Harbaugh is the guy I believe that didn't do well hiring staff. Than Harbaugh puts in his contract that She one Moore will be his replacement so that's another Harbaugh move. I just feel like Harbaugh is the guy who really created a mess at Michigan! Seems like the " Michigan men" have been the problem people and not the current players it's the ex players that brought all the drama. I still think warde has responsibility though but the grass isn't always greener. I will just say though that all these ex players that get hired to work at Michigan have really dropped the ball. By the way everything this guy knows is not from shot callers at Michigan. It's just reporters at Michigan who don't really know the facts but kind of guess by things they hear through grape vines so take everything you hear online with a grain of salt
