  1. For me Vidic at CB is non negotiable. He's the only defender to win PL player of the season TWICE. And he has the highest win % of any player in the PL era. Maybe he isn't as good on the ball and playing out from the back like a Rio or a Van Diijk….But in terms of sheer defensive ability and influence I haven't seen anyone else like him in the EPL. He was super aggressive and physical, read the game extremely well, incredible in the air, incredible at tackling and was also a very good clean up defender mopping up mistakes by his teammates. Also add in the fact he was a big scoring threat on set pieces as the cherry on the top. For me Vidic is non negotiable. I like Rio and think he's top 10 all-time PL CB. But I find Rio gets overrated by the English media. He's constantly in these all-time XIs and he wasn't even the best CB at his own club. There's a reason Vidic won 2 PL player of the year awards and Rio didn't. Vidic was better, which honestly is no slight on Rio. Vidic was better than everyone in his prime. And for me Terry has to be the other CB. For me as pure defenders those 2 are on another level. They were 1 man brick walls who did it for an extended period of time and won plenty of PL trophies.

  2. Why does cr7 deserve a spot but debruyne doesn't his been in the prem way longer than cr7, salah has way better stats than than cr7 in the prem.

  3. The revisionism with Yaya Toure is crazy. He was pretty great for a couple of seasons and then became a defensive liability for many years. People remember the insane goal against Villa and have convinced themselves that he did that every game. Miles behind Silva, KDB, Rodri and maybe even Fernandinho in terms of City midfielders, let alone all time prem.

  4. Watched about 20 seconds and they've got Schmeichel and even Seaman as the ones to consider and not even thinking about Cech (who has all the stats to back him up as well as the greatest season from a GK in Prem history, just 15 goals conceded including only 9 from open play) as well as Van Der Sar who was absolutely world class too. Insane. No point bothering with the rest of the team

  5. Best PL team ever
    Smaichel
    Walker Van Dajk Vidić A.Cole
    Gerard Scholes
    Ronaldo Rooney Bale
    Henry
    Sub
    Cech
    Ivanović Tery Ferdinand Evra
    Yaya Toure Viera D.Silva
    Suarez Drogba Torres

  6. Roy Keane over Vieira all day long, he won more Premier Leagues and won a Champions League. Vieira never won a Champions League. Keane was man of the match, when he was up against Vieira. For me Roy Keane was the best midfielder and most important Premier League player ever. Yes I think Gerrard was unbelievable but Keane has 8 Premier Leagues and Gerrard 0. Roy Keane was so important for Man United, thats why they dominated for so long. When you watch Keane against Juventus, he was up against the best Midfielders that night and came out on top. Go watch Roy Keanes last game for Ireland, it was against France. Who had Vieira, Henry, Zidane etc, that was 2005 and it finished 1-0 to France. Roy Keane even then, was all over the pitch and was the best player. That just showed how good he was.

  7. Schmeichal
    Irwin Ferdinand Terry Cole
    Keane Modric
    De Bruyne
    Ronaldo Suarez Henry

Shearer, Gerrard, Scholes, Silva and Vieira close but had to pick Suarez and Modric (yes the spurs one)

  8. Van der Sar – Ferdinand, van dijk, vidic – yaya toure, viera , de bruyne , gerrard – ronaldo, shearer, Henry (343) Manager Alex furgeson

  10. As good as Ronaldo is, His peak was at real madrid. I would personally put rooney on there instead. The only other change i would make is lampard instead of gerrard but either are good. Great line up nonetheless.

  11. Irwin was better than Cole, by miles, and no way Vieira should get in ahead of Keane

Bergkamp and Zola unlucky not to get a mention

  12. My PL all time 11 4-3-3:
    GK P. Cech,
    RB:G. Neville
    CB: J. Stam
    CB: N.Vidic
    LB: A. Cole
    CM: Vieira
    CM: P. Scholes
    CM: Gilberto Silva (surprise surprise)
    LW: Cristiano Ronaldo
    ST: Henry
    RW: Bergkamp

Subs: Rio Ferdinand, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and Drogba

  13. Hazard for ronaldo; denis irwin or kyle walker for neville; Tonny adam, jap stamp or van dyjk for ferdinand.
No chances for van nistelroy, cantona, if there are players like rooney, drogba, bergkamp, aguero, suarez, torres, and tevez.

  14. Hazard should have been mentioned….wt a player, easily the best player in the epl from 2015 to 2019 bt sadly people like to judge purely based on stats
