I think Kate's fear is real and statistically true. There are not many women over a certain age doing sports presenting anywhere on the planet. Period. The men's TV careers last much longer.
The only thing I can say is, when your parents get to certain age, don’t wait. You NEVER get that time back and when they’re gone the emptiness of what could have been compounds the heartbreak 100 fold. 😭
