is it me or did mexico actually touched the ball really good, better than usual?
Everytime u have a team that pressures MX they don't do that well let's be realistic. #9 from NZ missed so many chances it wasn't even that Talavera excell it was that NZ forwards were clumsy. I think Osorio means well with rotations but this ain't basketball, great teams play by 'memory' it will be though to accomplished this via rotations.
The ones judging Mexico are the oneswho didnt watch the game. NZ's bench was throwing insults to their players according to Osorio and I believe him because he is a pretty humble coach for the most part, there was also the NZ player that tried to provoke Moreno by tripping him when he had fallen and it was a throw in, in this play, the NZ couldve taken out Herrera with the cleat to the calf, these dudes were violent.

to me it didn't look like hererra was coming at the player to fight, it looked he was going for the ball then he got pushed from behind into the other new Zealand player. I don't know why he got a yellow, on the other hand reyes deserved that yellow. he was tugging on that dudes jersey like a tug of war game. he definitely deserved that yellow
Mexico national team played horrible. A lot of missed opportunities. I'm sure they won't make it next round. But if a miracle happens and make it, they will lose due to poor focus and sportsmanship. This always happens.

That ref did a terrible job at controlling the game. There was tension building the whole game and he did nothing. Before the fight the Mexican player was tugging on the new Zealanders shirt, which should have been an immediate yellow, and then the new Zealander got revenge and the ref still did nothing. Quite disappointing.
