  1. MLS referees have disappointed us! Their decisions on showing cards, rewarding penalties are not upto minimum first class world football standard , very, very ridiculous!

  2. wait, (6:40) if someone is entering a contest using more force than the other person entering the contest, both prepared for this contest, that sounds like the definition of 'excessive force' because one person used significantly more force than the situation called for. If you dont have the ball and someone shoves you from behind it is also excessive force. If you dont make this line, you necessarily argue that hitting someone as hard as you can in a 'legal way' is not 'excessive force', and I for one would hate to see everyone getting a run lead up before spearing a player who is close enough to the ball that we can call it a challenge. Punish the over the top violence with over the top responses, leading with an elbow should get you lead off the field.

  3. Apparently Inter Miami are rigging the MLS yet every game of theirs I watch they seem to have a fair goal disallowed and rarely get free kicks and penalties are almost unheard of. They've had like 5 pens in the past 2 years that I can remember.

  4. It’s hilarious seeing Bouanga complaining the Montreal player went down easy. He literally does the same thing every single game. He’s been booked multiple times for diving. If you even get close to touching him, he goes down screaming. Pathetic

  5. MLS seriously needs to upgrade their offside technology to be considered serious. These are PROFESSIONAL games, treat them that way.

  6. After bringing in millions of views by bringing in the legend Messi and some other legends, now we must create a great league by bringing in professional coaches as well as good players.

  7. 8:38 Valenzuela commits a foul on Abram, debating whether Guzan fouls him is beside the point. Guzan maybe saves Valenzuela from landing on his head.

  8. Have a look at 8:38 mark. For me I clearly see white Jersey Valenzuela first initiating contact with his right knee to the back of the defender BEFORE heading the ball and also before Guzan fouls Valenzuela !! After review, Respectfully my decision would be a DIRECT FREE KICK for black since Valenzuela was PLAYING IN A DANGEROUS MANNER. Per LAW 12 : is any action that, while trying to play the ball, threatens injury to someone (including the player themself) and includes preventing a nearby opponent from playing the ball for fear of injury. THOUGHTS ?

  9. How in the world do you look yourself in the mirror. The guy leaves his feet, and leads with an elbow. If that is not serious foul play, then what is? Also overlooking the outcome of BROKEN RIBS AND COLLAPSED LUNG is the most brain dead take. The ref is there for player safety and you are condoning physical assault on the field.

  10. How is leading with the point of the elbow OFF THE BALL to the point where Hagglund gets 2 broken ribs and a punctured lung not excessive force? I mean come on here.

  11. LOL, so putting your forearm into the back of the attacker in the box & extending your arm out & down to force him to the ground & off the ball isn't a foul… and leaning back to elbow someone in the face while the ball is going forward (and so were you, until you stopped to attack) isn't a clear red… never mind the clear & obvious kick to the face that resulted in a bloody mouth in that game's next clip, 2 clear & obvious red cards to MIA in stoppage time (the 2nd less likely to happen if the first is officiated correctly) … and swinging the elbow hard enough to break a rib, nope that's not violent either … I think someone needs to read the Laws of the Game, unless the purpose of this series isn't really to debate the calls but rather to defend the sorry job that PRO does week in & week out

LOTS of dirty plays by sleazy players this week… I will agree with Andrew about the goalie foul though, that seems to be a problem around the world, a tendency to overprotect the keepers from their own fouls

  12. Weenie if Bouanga went down “too easy” than that same logic should apply on the PK to Montreal. The more y’all explain the more bias it sounds. Just saying.

  13. I swear soccer is the stupidest sport. With non-stop boring running and fake injuries it's amazing that America is the only country who's kids outgrow it.

  14. 5:52

The player in white commits a foul. He plays the player. He is not trying to be in front of his opponent to play the ball.
It's an obstruction : Rule 12 "A direct free kick is also awarded when a player commits one of the following offences:
    -(…)
-Obstructs the progress of an opponent with contact"

  15. Haggland got what he deserved. He played the player. Don't impede. I think Hagglund deserves a yellow and there should be a spot kick for him impeding without the ball.

  16. Good to know MLS has 0 idea what it is doing anymore besides paying a company shill to be a mouthpiece that doesn’t help the league advance.

    Abolish PRO and PSRA

  17. Cincy fan here, and I won't as argue red vs yellow on the Hagglund hit, but the fact that Latte Lath didn't receive ANY card is an egregious error. Purposeful contact with the point of the elbow away from the ball. That was a dirty hit, no ifs ands or buts about it.
