Meet Spain’s only deaf female pro footballer #EqualGame

Diagnosed with a hearing impairment at just two years old, Eunate had to work harder than most to fulfil her dream of becoming a pro footballer. Now she is Spain’s only female professional deaf player and dreams of playing at next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

  1. This translation sometimes lost a lot of information. In minute 0:49, when it says that her coach and partners talk to her from behind and she can't hear them, that's not exactly what she says. She says that she can hear them talking to her, but she can't catch the info (the things they're saying to her).

  2. Amazing, I'm deaf and I wear cochlear implants. Been playing football for 10 years and always wanted to be a player but never happened 🙁
