The gafferβ€
No assist to Chicarito vs Chelsea?
Carrick is literally 150 m pound midfielder
Underrated!!!!!!
Carrick is a midfield genius but Man U current midfield is horrendous. Not sure how he can revitalize it.
Being a good player doesn't mean you're a good coach/manager.
Is he gonna play?
Ohh no he will disturb others title race and will do good for UTD
Best CM ever
michael carrick survives modern game, but the old united system where he live in does not
The same reason why Fletchers game was easily dismantled, he is out of depth
Wπ’πππππ’π’ππ’ π 0,
Carrick>>>> Alonso.
Superb player, wasted by the England national team. He could have allowed England to play both Gerrard and Lampard without losing defensive solidity.
In theory, he trains under Sir alex, Jose and Van gaal, so he should be pretty decent.
Hero of that era. Homegrown midfielders like him are sorely missed. Maybe mainoo will get a chance under his management though
Man utd
What is this? Instead of doing your job and protecting clubs, you help with the spin? No wonder the quality of the league is falling.
shouldve included his solo goal vs QPR
Its actually funny, I remember when Carrick first moved to Utd he used to get a lot of stick for passing side-ways instead of forward…but he improved a lot over the years and was pure class at one point!
One of the best midfielders in United history. And the most selfless too. Take a bow Carrick.
jordan henderson in his prime was similar
The most reliable and consistent player who the key for Man Utd's success during 2006-2013 period. He can walk into any great team in any era with his calmness and vision.
Since he retired United still canβt find reliable holding midfield to succeed him
right foot for passing, left foot for scoring
Watch Manchester United for 40+ years. I'd not call him a genius. π Super slow in passing. Overrated. The length of this video already tells the reality (it'd be longer if he were better than the title suggests :D).
I hope he will bring back the glory days…π π
Taking one touch (or even first time) accurate forward passes between the lines or in behindβ¦he did that constantly and we see so few players like that now
I miss the good old days π’π’
Very good with both feet
Imagine listening to someone whoβs saying β MICHEAL CARRICK WAS AN AVERAGE PLAYERβ π you think sir Alex would have let him play with that Man U team? π
β€β€β€β€β€ nothing came back from MC
Carrick, the 7th best midfielder in his country.
He's not gonna be playing for utd so why show his highlights? π
3:05 That van Persie touch is reminiscent to Bergkamp's
one of the best defensive midfielders
GGMU
These dont actually show carricks world class ability of screening and reading the game as a midfielder he was one of the best at that
You cant beat those goals against Roma. He was unbelievable that night at Old Trafford
I miss those AIG kits. It was Utd's last golden era.
No one can ever convince me that Rodri or Busquet are anything better than Carrick
"The Modern" the one who will missed forever in United.
Back when teams used to feed their forwards more than prioritising ball retention
SACK WILCOX!
CARRAS!
