Reo-Coker is a better pundit than Neville & Carra
For me top 4 is only able to be done if Spurs have a larger stronger and larger squad, the chairman needs to step up here and support his manager by giving him some dosh to buy at least a couple of 1st class players…….COYS!!
4-0,
2-0. Completely Spurs dominated over City
Nope letβs wait till Europe and league start and playing twice a week as always when we start struggling as squad not strong enough
Remember when Spurs were top of the league after 10 games a couple years ago? I fear without some quality reinforcements, they will run out of steam.
The most knowledgeable person only spoke at the end when asked for her opinion. Lol.
Man City have a history of paying the refs… sooooo
go get lookman!
I'm sorry mr american. Bu why don't you think a Spurs side should beat City? Have we not done it 6 times in the past 5 years. Please Americans. Stay away from commentary.
Manchester City got old. The players pep needs, particularly at the back can not be around 30 and losing a step in order for things to work. Thatβs not even counting the fact they havenβt replaced KDB
What a finish
Thomas Frank's Brentford defeated Man City twice in their treble season
Next joke,Spurs was relegation bound last season
Iβve been saying, get Lookman, for a week
I think that Pep Guadiola broke his own code and he's struggling with it. When he decided to end his reign at FC Barca as Manager when the club wanted him to continue, one of his reasons was that he didn't want to stay beyond 4 years at one club. At Man City he's broken that code. And, the reason why is struggling now, I think, is because he doesn't know how to rebuild teams.
In building one starts with the foundations. The Romero situation being sorted out to Spurβs advantage is a huge plus. Keeping Van der Ven is also equally important. As a long time Spurs supporter Iβm looking forward to this season.
I'm cautiously optimistic, but we've been through this a time or four in the past. I love what I'm seeing and Richie's work-rate has been something of a message to the team. A couple years before coming to Spurs, Everton were nearing relegation — if it were not for Pickford and Richarlison, Everton would have gone down. Do not under estimate Richie's heart!
Even as a Spurs fan, pushing to ask about Spurs being title contenders after 2 games is the dumbest line of questioning.
The bar to be on TV gets lower and lower.
I've always said we have great individual international players and TF is moulding them together to play as a team for 90 mins.
I would love lookman but think itβs off to inter
There is just no way tot finish above MC and Iβm COYS for LIFE
Didn't watch the game, but just saw the highlights! As a city fan, I like what I saw, though be it a bad result. City weren't at thier best, but both goals were fortuitious, John Stone's slip and an inexperienced goal keeper's bad decision. Otherwise, City played decent. It's early days and the team is a very young one. It will get super better.
But Man City losing to Spurs is not new. CITY has won the league while losing to spurs. I say it early in the season to say anything
Still not giving Tottenham their due
Peps won trophies at the best sides in said leagues with huge budgets……
Great analysis. Although they forgot one small thing – those chickens has always been Pep's bogey team no matter the context.
Called Lookman a hidden gem, wild
@9:02 fantastic question to ask Hannah Cash what she thinks. Well Done!
Newcastle vs Liverpool Monday 25 August. Now thats gonna be a hot match. The Isak saga on pitch. Newcastle will want to win and prove Isak on the wrong path.
Great result. Letβs not get ahead of ourselves
The PL settles by 10 first matches for all clubs. Then by last 10 matches places for top 4 and bottom 3 relegation places are fought over. Its just one match. Spurs beats Man C then lose to Leeds or Sunderland. Not able to see how Spurs get to top 4. Unless Arsenal and Chelsea lose to Spurs in 4 derby games.
Pep got show players. They spend more time on their hair cuts π
Good analysis, Nigel Reo-Coker.
Really good panel here. ESPN should probably look at this to know how to hire experts
That's not a good message from Pep. I think he will quit if he can't correct the ship.
4:04 When would you look at Citeh side and say they would be cleansheeted? How about last year vs same Spurs minus Frank plus Ange? 4-0 Spurs
Great win for Frank and the boys league contender π not with levy.
Definitely CANT agree more with what he said Lookman will elevate us and possibly get top 6 at least .
Nigel Reo-Coker is a great analyst. Havenβt seen him on tv before. Would have loved to see him in a spurs shirt back in his prime. Underrated player.
P is a liability not asset. City can only get better after he goes away. So is Lewis our worst player but pep loves him for unknown reasons
AGAIN π
COYs!
This is just two games, guys. Every time the Spurs defeat a big side in the past, the Spurs never kick on, so just keep focus game by game. Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City are the title favorites to win EPL Tottenham doesn't need that pressure at this point in time
Bro on the right , went thru ,
analysing, cheering, troubleshooting , scouting, and predicting in under 10 min.π
CBS got it all π
Great win for Spurs and they should be really pleased with that. Burnley is one thing but dominating at the Etihad is another thing entirely. But way too early to say anything else about them.
City better hope that was just an off day but sounds like they were pretty awful and another middling season may beckon for them.
I was slightly confused how some pundits had that squad for top spot in the league to be honest.
Due to the timing of Afcon it will be not a smart move if Spurs go for Lookman. if we sign more African players, even tho I would love to have him, currently 3 players we will lose when Afcon starts. I wish they could do Afcon in summer, but due to extreme heat, you will need full air-conditioning stadiums. This would give more value to African players.
Spurs beating City is pretty much expected these days. However, watch them do something spursy in their coming games π . The meme highlights from the game are on my page π
Tottenham were good.
Yes, 100% They are going to win EPL and if they don't they completely bottled it just after 2 games
