  1. No problems with Cole going City as he gave everything to Manchester United when he was there, he changed his game, could of stayed at Newcastle and become far and away highest goalscorer ever but at Manchester United you had to be a team player and work hard, reason why we never got many balloon dors coz they had to do the dirty work as well

  2. 3rd all time highest Premier league goalscorer, doesn't get mentioned enough in my opinion. Andy Cole was a fantastic player, did all his talking on the pitch and is one of my favourite Utd players of all time. Thanks Andy

  3. Shows you how he had no loyalty what so ever.

Who ever paid him the money he went too.

So many footballers have no interest in the fantasy aspect of sport, and loyalties.

  5. He joined Manchester City before they were financially doping and at that time they were not a threat. I don’t think it would not gone down so well if he joined Arsenal or Liverpool after he left Man Utd.

  6. I remembered he had a dry spell in 1995-1996 if i remembered correctly, he missed sitters and kids kept calling striker that misses open goal : "andy cole". Surely Andy has the personality and mental strength to turn this around. Something the current manchester united players lacked. Cole is always a legend for the club

  7. That Man Utd team got royally schooled by Bayern Munich in the 99 final, and then got ruined by two old Brazilians in the world club cup. They'd have no chance vs Guardiola's Man City.

  8. Too many strikers ahead of him for him to have a successful England career, Shearer, Ferdinand, Sherringham, Fowler and then you had Owen , shouldnt blame himself so much there was ridiculous competition.

  9. There's an easier explanation… Cole was at his peak at United… by the time he joined City he was 34-35 well past his best… City wasn't a United rival at that time (apart from City derby)… not much different to when Owen joined United… he had alot of injuries, he was well past his best…. or when Lampard joined City… Fans don't get jealous or hatred for moves like that…. Tevez joined City from United at his peak… that's a different story!!
