  1. This league is laughable. It's not onoy a retirement league for European superstars who've lost a step, but it obviously hires blind and mentally deficient people to be referees.

  2. In the last play with STL, it seems Hiebert is trying to avoid hitting his own teammate (Klauss) with an elbow to the head as he is jumping. Maybe it doesn't change the result but good on him.

  3. With the DC vs NC I think that it should of been a NC red card or at least a yellow for a warning because what I seen was he went behind him then slide tackle him and it was with force so really he should of gotten a card. What’s your opinion on that?

  4. How 5h!t are your officials?
That isn't even a foul, let alone a booking and as for a Red, well, has someone been the recipient of full manila envelopes?

  5. Can I get clarification on the last clip about the handball? I know MLS is different than Premier League, but rules typically are extremely mirrored. I don't see anything about proximity in the IFAB rules.

Handball exemptions in the Premier League:
    – Justifiable position/action
    – Supportive arm when player falls
    – Player kicks or head the ball onto their own arm
    – Clear change of trajectory when touched by, or deflected from, the same player
    – Played by a teammate
    – Proximity

  6. Am I crazy or is the Offside Offense on the DC call wildly wrong. He doesn't interfere with the play until after the DC player in an onside position receives the ball and then that players touch resets the offside ruling and at that point he is back onside? Am I wrong?

  7. What about the no handball call from the Revs game this week where a player misses the ball on his slide tackle and uses his arm to slide the ball away from the attacker? Didn't even get reviewed.

  8. I wish Weibe actually saw these comments. How is the DC goal "offside"? He is back inside before the other player touches the ball and before he goes to set the pick. By the second DC player touching the ball, he is now onside. He can then interfere with the play. How did 2 refs and weibe get this wrong when this couch fan got it right cause I know all? Haha jk, but what am I missing?

  9. I think the Yapi card is being scrutinized for the wrong point of contact. I see his left arm swing forward in the small of the back after the initial challenge… I don’t know if I’d call it a red still, but it’s not for the initial elbow. I think the ref saw a “kidney punch” and the other player heavily embellished the contact to get the call. Then no angle to really tell the force or contact so he has to trust what he saw on the field.

  10. you assume it was the elbow with the right and not the punch with the left hand in the back on the first red card. the ref was closer and most likely saw it clearly. that would explain the delay from the first contact.

  11. So it doesn't matter that Pirani takes a touch while McVey is now in an onside position? McVey was not involved in the play while offside. Wrong call imo. If you want to call obstruction, fine. But offside isn't the right call.

  12. The handball rule is ridiculous. What the hell is a natural position? As long as my hands are attached to my body it’s in a natural position. The rule should be if you’re making your body larger which the St. Louis defender is absolutely doing.

  13. Watching grown men flop on the ground in pretend injuries is going to drive me back to watching other sports. I played soccer in high school many years ago and we were tougher than any of these guys.

  14. How about another obvious facet of that first call? The fact that the player on offense is looking at the ball and moving in the direction of the ball. The defender who ends up diving and clutching his back, never was looking at the ball, was not traveling in the direction of the ball, or seem to have any intention of getting to the ball. His soul goal was to get in front of the offense player and take a dive.
