The problem with that approach is over time it is guaranteed to fail. Every sport sees tacticians and coaches bring the best out of teams. Without this, once you get past a round of player transitions the identity and style of the team that has success is lost. 2 rounds your players become aimless. 3 rounds you’re no longer attracting the best players and then you have to rebuild tactics from scratch and pray you don’t lose your status as a top club.
