Liverpool had some work cut for them as they headed into the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter finals. Liverpool trailed Real Madrid 3-1 on aggregate and needed a flurry of goals to move on. Instead, Real Madrid stiffened and allowed nothing and held on to their two goal lead. Real Madrid moves on to the semi final round and has a date with Chelsea next.

    I was impressed with the courtois and the saves. Liverpool could of had quite a bit of goals. But was more impressed how liverpool only 3 goals with having 2 cb with no experience in Phillips and currenlty on loan transfer kabak. A loss is a loss but I'm sure it would be different both ways had real madrid and liverpool been healthy all around..๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

    Liverpool and other new school clubs need an old fashioned striker/center forward. What happened to the Shearers, Van Nistelrooy's, Rooney's, Van Persie's, Drogba's, all of them? Enough of this false 9 bs. Too many missed gimme's

    I never doubt my team. No matter the deficit. Had my hopes lfc could score twice and keep madrid at bay and beat them. The fwds esp mane and salah because of salahs selfishness threw the chemistry off over a year ago or just about. The athletico madeid loss last year. Was the eyeopener.
