Referee doesn't have to call the penalty. This is a case of both players fouls canceling each other out. The real question, was the fall natural or was the player choosing not compete and being rewarded? I have never understood the grabbing another players jersey thing.
I know diving is a big part of the game but there’s gotta be something done about it. We have so many camera angles and high quality frame by frame there’s no excuse to make a bad call. Or we could just punish the players for flopping like the nba
