For the first time fans were given the opportunity to listen to the conversation between a referee and a Video Assistant Referee during a live match. Watch and listen to some of the conversations the broadcast was able to show during the MLS is Back Tournament.

I just came here after the VAR controversy of the game between Tottenham and Liverpool. If only the Premier League have this sense of transparency😢
Era pra ser esse método no Brasil, infelizmente não temos essa transparência no nosso futebol 😢
Will this ever happens again
That penalty call was outrageous. It was at point blank range and the guy was simply running along side the striker. Really outrageous call.
VAR making football great again. Can we get that same level of transparency for other (more important) things as well? Thanks.
Lmao out of the 3 incidents. 2 were offside which is pretty simple to make the correct decision on but notice the one that is down to professional opinion and perspective they get completely wrong. The ref on the pitch goes into it thinking it's not a penalty because he understands basic balance physics and the fact the ball was essentially kicked at his hand from a short distance which is not a penalty but the dude in the VAR room is looking all offended when the ref said this. Unfortunately that's all VAR is…it's an overhead. Who's gonna challenge the overhead when you'll have to talk to them again in the future.
That was not a pen
3:25 he's not offside. The arm of the number 2 is playing him on.
This is what fans want to hear in premier league football var audio
We need it in England
Can anyone explain why they use the "on field review" to check the offside in the first clip? I Europe, when there is a clear situation, i e offside, goal no goal, the referee doesn't go to the screen to review the action. Thanks.
The hand was raised I think a split second before the ball started traveling. That means it wasn't a deliberate handball. And also it didn't stop a goal scoring opportunity. Shouldn't be a pen imo
This is amazing.
They need to do this in every big game instead of playing some stupid music when a goal is score.
Show it on the big screen and let the audience listen to the ref conversations!
I love this
This is the kind of transparency I love. Please continue this going forward.
VAR is a great tool for fair games and fair results. Reduces bias for the most part.
We need this in all top flight leagues in the world for transparency.
The net sound 🤤
Use from PTL vs. CIN was the prime example of what VAR should be worldwide. Perfect communication and execution of the technology.
I LOVE MLS
This is why I love MLS
