Not a religious man but I have a similar view. Whenever I describe Messi to ppl who don’t know the sport I say Messi is more akin to a force of nature than a player.
I vividly remember in 2016 USA was playing Argentina, Argentina got a free kick right outside the box. I knew that no matter what the US did with the wall, GK etc etc Messi would score the free kick. Lone behold I was right.
Not trying to say anything out of line but Ronaldo also has the same effect people in Ronaldo and Messi era are lucky to have two people with this much impact on football and am not a Ronaldo fan for extreme Messi fan
