Messi has reached the level where he didnt even needs to run much to be really effective. His shooting precision keeps getting better. Notice how he regularly scores more and more from long range as if its just a tap in.
Also, everytime the ball arrives at his feet, he already know where to move or make the pass cause he constantly scanning his opponents and teammates movement.

this video just made my day because they used actual ratings rather than goals and assists . literally the first time ive seen something like this in football discussions online . i think whoscored is a better site for match ratings than sofascore or footmob just because they are more accurate imo and have been rating since 2009/10 season , sofascore starts from 2015/16 and footmob also around that same time . messi's level is actually insane . btw Ney played very few minutes compared to leo hence why that high of a rating , but again ney proves that he is the only player who comes close to leo in terms of creativity
