  1. I’ll never forget how I literally slid out of my chair in awe, and flattened out on the floor 😂😂😂 I kid you not, I nearly passed out from this goal 😭😭😭 legendary

  2. Messi destroyed 3 players with only 2 touches. Boateng, Nuer and Rafinha (who tried to clear the ball inside the net). It's not a surprise coz he once did the same exact move against Real Madrid destroying Casillas with a chipped goal and Cannavaro injured himself after hitting the post while trying to clear the ball. GOAT stuff 😂😂😂

  3. As an American, I spent the majority of my life having an unjust view on Futbol, never caring to watch outside of the occasional WC match where I didn’t really know or care what I was watching. As a young man I took a job in a warehouse working with these 2 African immigrants. I would spend many days in earshot of their disagreements on Real vs Barca, I decided then I’d catch a game to see what the fuss was about.

… this was the game, this was the moment that changed my life towards the beautiful game. Messi did it, Messi turned the world upside down and Boateng inside out. Now that I think about it years later, nobody can or really has recreated his magic, and this was a hell of a swan song into what will be a life long love affair. Visca Barca

  4. does anyone know what the commentator said right after boatengs fall?

it had an amazing beginning, "he's led boateng into.."

then it becomes a bit incomprehensible. it was such a great comment through that whole move. the build up and tone and pace and finish of the comment just attatched so well to what i was seeing. wish i knew what he said.

  5. People might look at this as a normal feat. What makes it unbelievable was the fact that boateng was a well respected defender at this time coupled with the fact that neuer is arguably one of the best keepers in history.

  6. I remember watching this game in the basement of a University building where I was studying. I swear people on 4th floor probably heard when I yelled "OHHHHHHHHHHHH." I'm not even a Barca fan, the goal was just too dirty.
