  1. Just my take on this whole tournament. Leon had an easy tournament for the most part. Best club they went against in this competition was Tigres. LAFC went against Philadelphia, Vancouver and Alajuense and won. Not exactly an easy road. To top it off, LAFC is on fire during league play. Dennis Bouanga is also on fire scoring the most goals in the CONCACAF Champions League. Vela is vela and Opoku is also dangerous up front. Couple by Illie from Spain, Ciduentes who came from the Premier League, Chiellini from Juventus and many other, LAFC is stacked and Leon is definitely the underdog here. But just like how Leceister City won the Premier League back then, football is never won paper. It's going to be a great final and I can't wait for next year where it's a 1 leg final in a neutral venue.

  2. Leon will surely lose against LAFC. LAFC have only conceded 6 goals while making more than 16 goals, winning and drawing all 8 of their MLS games and have not lost a game since the round of 16 in the 1st round vs Alajuense. Their top scorer replaced Carlos Vela up top and Vela is now a more centrally midfielder playing a more deeper role in the back and helping to create chances for the team with his technique and vision and passes. LAFC has expontially grown their roster, signing the likes of Tillman from the Bundesliga, and Chellini from Juventus, along with Jose Cifuentes gaining steam from the Premier League. LAFC is the ONLY MLS team to NOT lose this season and is exploding under 2nd season coach Steve Cherundolo who played all his life in Germany with Hannover 96. Leon made it this far, but so far Tigres convinced me that they were going to the finals and maybe lose with LAFC, but now with a lesser threat playing Leon, LAFC must keep their heads high, and must not concede the ball in the final third of the field, otherwise Leon might capitalize and counterattack. Fun face: Denis Bounga, fresh from the Ligue 1 playing with St. Ethienne, is the top scorer for Champions League with 6 goals while Liga MX top scorer scored 3 goals from Leon. Leon and Tigres conceded several goals over the past 3 games, whileas LAFC have NOT conceded a goal in their last game vs Philly winning a 3-0 at home! Their away game at Philly was 1–1 but was a penalty, so not sure that would have counted since it is not an open goal or maybe it is… Lol. I remembered watching my first CONCACAF champions league game in 2014 and watched every year Mexican teams like Club America, Tigres UANL, Monterrey, win their titles. Mexico have 3-4 of the best teams in the country, Cruz Azul, Tigres UANL, Club America, and Monterrey, perhaps the most strongest and deadliest of MLS opponents faced. Leon lost vs LAFC in 2020, Leon lost vs Toronto FC in 2021, Leon lost vs my Seattle Sounders (Sounders represent baby)! last year in 2022, so will history continue or will Leon surprised CONCACAF? Let's see, sorry folks for the whole description here. Passion here for the beautiful game might as well be RAY Hudson on a tv broadcast.
