  1. The reason why he isn't scoring is because he doesn't want to be seen as selfish. If Jay Jay desire to dribble from his goal to the other to score he can do it successfully.

  2. Austin is his real name Austin Asuka. AA. But he was so humble he got his brother's name Jay Jay. He was called James's brother when he followed his brothers to fields till they swapped his brother's name for his. All his brothers were great footballers but he was the best

  3. I want you all brother’s/Sister’s in football to put JAY JAY Okocha in the same level of Mozart, Beethoven, Michael Jackson… Picasso (Mona Lisa)…Shakespeare and even Confucius in China, for me a great artist, not only a footballer 😂❤❤❤🙏🏿🙏🏿🙋🏾‍♂️

  4. Current football coaches have no room for his style. As the fellow on the left said, it's all about speed these days.

If you want to find players who at least attempt to play like he did, you will have to check the amateur and lower leagues. Coaches nowadays will simply bury the career of any player who is a creative and entertaining dribbler but a little slow. Players like that never get the chance to make it to the top.

These days, players get past opponents by simply outrunning them (running faster). But he didn't bother outrunning anyone, he simply sent them the wrong way using feints OR he'll use insane tricks like looping the ball over their head. By the way, the art of feinting is almost extinct in modern football.

Long live the king of slow dribbles, deceptive no-look passes, and scintillating free kicks !

  5. From Europe to Africa??? Next time word it right. (FROM AFRICA TO EUROPE) he was born in Africa, started his career in Africa. And he is from Africa.. so it’s can’t be from Europe to Africa. You ought to know better CBS.

  6. Thank you guys for these kinds of words about our hero. As a Nigerian, I'm proud of him, no one can replicate his style of football right now

  7. when it comes to beautiful football the world knows JayJay Okocha and Ronaldinho. His drawbacks is the lack of trophies or awards. Neymar should would have fitted their shoes had he worked harder.
