  1. Feel for Bowyer and Charlton with this. I can also see it from Taylors perspective, but he really could help the club out when they are in this position. I actually think Charlton will stay up, Hull are dropping like a stone.

  2. When a first saw this a thought he was some player but he’s 30? Just look at David Silva he confirmed he was leaving this summer for a whole year but cause this pandemic he’s decided to extend until the season finished. Am comparing David Silva cause they both in their 30s a would get it if he’s some young lad but it would still be so wrong.

  3. Lyle Chris anyone can get injured at any given time so what’s the point in doing this we need everyone at this difficult time so if you don’t play for CHARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB THEN DONT WELL STAND UNITED AND GET THROUGH IT WITH THE PLAYERS WHO WANT TO PLAY FOR US

  4. It's all about the damn money 30 years ago footballers played with pride for the club and badge, we should have let in sign for Brentford and let him go anyway, he's hart was not with the club this season, and now he is just using covid-19 as an excuse he is a damned disgrace to all that love football,🇬🇧🇺🇸

  5. Taylor is a good player but only potentially great. To refuse to play is despicable. He didn't refuse his wages for the weeks and weeks that he was injured and couldn't play.

  6. Swansea were negiociating with Man Utd to see his wages go from £4k a weekto £64m a week. There was the small matter of a £18m transfer fee. Before the deal was done Wales played a match v Slovakia away. I was amazed he played. Had he done his cruciate eveyone would have lost a packet. Bravo he is a footballer.

  7. I’m a charlton fan but he’s done good for us and fans cheered for him every week but if he goes we still got bonne Lyle is leaving for money

  8. THanks Gaffer. You are always a straight talker and that is what we need at this great club! I hppe you will stay gaffer for a long time to come, bringing us the success you deserve!

  9. Just read sheff united my team are interested inhim hope not 1 hes not good enough and 2 who wants a traitorous letch like him at their club if he does this once he'd do it to his next club the rat 🐀 , we had one greedy pig we had to let go (duffy) and im glad chrissy wilder showed he not a push over as much as he wated to keep him !

  10. I think it’s a really bad excuse, it’s bad for football and any club looking at him must be thinking he will look after himself again rather then the club, after all this covid situation we all find ourselves In, losing pay and all the rest and we have players like this doing this, his played his best football of his career at Charlton and would of been loved forever if he kept them up. I think football players and the entertainment industry as a whole will take a massive hit after this and players doing things this like this does not help people’s attitude towards the amount of wages they get.

  11. You would think he would want to stay and make sure his team mates stay in the division and dont lose 50% of their money by going down to league one! But suppose there is no i in team!

  12. Another bad attitude, hyped up nobody who thinks he's somebody in this modern social media driven player power era that we're unfortunately stuck in.

  13. wether we (rangers) do or dont sign the lad he should fulfill his contract – he will get over injury – yes a footballers career can be a short one however not wanting to play games does not give ANY future club a confidence boost by signing him
